Slovenia's legal and tax information publisher gave its users an AI assistant that answers legal questions and shows the law or court decision behind every statement. More than 1,800 people use it. GALOR's founder has worked on its engineering since 2023, together with Tax-Fin-Lex's own team.
TFL AI lets a user ask a legal question in plain Slovenian, typed or spoken. The answer arrives in 40 to 60 seconds, and every statement in it is numbered and linked to the law, judgment or article it comes from, so the lawyer can check it before relying on it.
A user can also open any court decision and get its key reasoning and a short summary, or upload their own contract and ask questions about it against the law.
GALOR's founder has worked on the engineering of TFL AI since 2023, together with Tax-Fin-Lex's own team. The first feature, analysis of court decisions, went live in December 2023. The legal chat followed in April 2024.
TFL AI answers from more than 1.4 million documents, including 280,734 court decisions, and has more than 1,800 users. In June 2024 the Central Slovenia chamber of commerce (GZS) gave the Tax-Fin-Lex team a silver innovation award for it.
